For all your ski and snowboard hire needs, we highly recommend them. They offer competitive pricing, are run by friendly local staff, and are conveniently located just 650m from the lodge, directly across from the Akakura Kanko ski resort.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INDICATE THAT YOU WANT TO PICK UP FROM THEIR AKAKURA KANKO SHOP, as they also have a shop in the main village.

• Online Booking: Available in English.

• Discount: Receive a 10% discount when you book online.

• Early Collection: Pick up your equipment the day before (between 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM) at no additional charge.

• Important Note: Aoyama Sports does not hire gloves. Please ensure you bring your own before arriving in Myoko.

• Overnight Storage of skis has yet to be confirmed, but the owners were confident that they could make it work for the 2026/2027 season.

• Pro Tip for Skiers: We also highly recommend purchasing a pair of good-quality ski socks for maximum comfort. You can find a good selection at reasonable prices on Amazon or in local sports stores.
