Spring is finally in the air! After one of the busiest winter seasons we’ve ever experienced, we’ve been doing a lot of reflecting.
We love what we do, but we’ll be the first to admit that keeping a lodge at 100% capacity was starting to take its toll. The smiles were getting a bit strained, and I found myself becoming a bit too much like a certain character from Fawlty Towers for my own liking!
To make sure we can continue to give you the warm, relaxed hospitality you deserve, we’re making some exciting changes:
More Space to Breathe:
We are reducing our room capacity and converting the ground-floor family room into our own private living space. We’ve already moved the furniture and removed a dining table to open up the common areas, giving the whole lodge a more spacious, airy feel.
Quality Over Quantity:
To give Tamami a well-deserved break and more time to actually socialise with you, we will be moving our dinner service to one night per week.
The Easy-Eats Nook
We’ve noticed many of you love the flexibility of a quick BYO meal after a long day. To make this even easier, we’ve going to set up a fully stocked “mini-mart” right here at the lodge with a wide range of easy-to-prepare, delicious meals and a work station to prepare them.
Our goal is simple: less pressure for the kitchen, less stress for the shuttle driver (me!), and a more joyful, relaxed atmosphere for everyone. We can’t wait to welcome you back to a lodge where the smiles are genuine and the vibes are chill.See you soon.
